given the state of the world, and kids shooting kids in the schools everywhere, why socks war? what kind of message is this to our young people?

Well... kids don't shoot kids everywhere, not in schools or otherwise. It happens very seldom, and it's always because of something else than playing war games. Bullying at schools is a lot bigger and more serious problem than war games.

What kind of message is this to the young people? Well... considering the fact that the kids of the participants are over-enthusiastic to see their mommy or daddy to kill or get killed, and even asks their parents to kill them... I'd say that the message is that it's better to send a pair of socks than a letter bomb or anthrax.

But thank you for visiting my blog :-)

I do like the socks :-) Very soft and nice :-) And I like the color too :-) And the yarn is lovely to knit :-)

I'm glad to hear that you're still alive :-) It's always nice to know that one wasn't killed by someone who was just killed herself, so that a day would have saved you LOL
